Gmail Drag & Drop

WOW I’ve just stumbled across (or should I say dragged across) a new feature in Gmail – Google have introduced drag and drop when attaching a file to an email.

It’s a simple process of dragging a file from your desktop into the browser pane (Firefox and Chrome – more browser support to follow shortly) where you are composing the email, a green box will show up with the text “drop files here”, drop the file and you’re done!

Yes, I’m often easily excited about the little things.

Okay, this is something I haven’t tried with Gmail and so ashamed that I had just read your post. Thanks for bringing it up!
