Writing an article takes some planning if you’re to do it correctly, that being said, it is not too difficult to find your article ranking for certain search terms and phrases if researched and a little forward planning.
Here are the basic steps:
1. Keyword Research
Find a keyword phrase in your selected market or industry and frame a message around it. It’s also important to factor in variations of the keyword(‘s)
2. Article Plan
How are you going to reach your audience? I suggest you give the articles audience something to take away, a lesson. The lesson helps get your point across and also adds value to the article.
3. Constructing
Using the search term research data, start building your article one paragraph at a time, generally I’d suggest not worrying too much about grammar and punctuation, just get all your ideas down. You can come back and correct any errors completing, fine tune your article on the final sweep.
Make sure you are using the keywords evenly though out the document, at the same time it must flow, making sense to the reader.
4. Final Draft
Now that you’ve got a solid base, all that’s required is for you to fill in the gaps, read the article making sure it flows. It is a good idea to share the article with another colleague or friend, ask them to look over it and see if it makes sense.
5. Promoting Your Article
Once the article has been completed it’s now time to promote it. The easiest way to promote the article is via the following article distribution sites:
