My other business has a responsive layout that alters based upon the viewport size. It works very well but you have to design from a mobile phone upwards to ensure it works correctly. This added to the development time, but it does work. I am not sure of the SEO benefits of responsive design, but it did negate the need for a whole new site targeted at mobile users. My current project for static caravans will be launching a mobile only version, but that will be responsive across iPhone, iPad etc rather than fixed for iPhone only. What are your thoughts on this?
